So Modern and Now: Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) – Part 2

Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL), the biggest event for Africa-inspired fashion in Europe, just took place from August the 1st until the 3rd. Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend (next time, hopefully) and thus I am sharing below the collections that I liked best and that were published on the AFWL website. Here is Part 2 of the designs I liked. You can read Part 1 here.

Tumisola Ladega  – this is my absolute favorite as the design looks so modern and now. Can you believe that the designer is only 14?! Yes, you read that correctly. I am still in shock that somebody so young can put such a cool collection together. Kudos!

CN Designs From the catwalk right into my closet please! That is how much I love the colorful separates from CN Designs.I like the fresh color combinations and the short jackets. This is just a look I could see myself in with tights and boots. Another favorite from the show.

Adopted Culture – What I really liked about this collection was its cohesiveness. Everything just worked together: the hair, the make-up, the accessories. I wouldn’t necessarily wear all of the looks (straw bustier), but the models look gorgeous in the designs and I adore the shoes. The website isn’t working – that is a bummer!
