Based in London, Ife’s Closet is combining African print with some vintage, 60ies inspired designs. Missing neckline, trumpet arms and psychedelic prints – the brand is taking us back to the swinging sixties with the collection titled “On the Go”.
My favorites are the high-waisted wrap skirt and the A-line skirt. Love, love A-line skirts – they always look fab (at least on me :-). Some of the other designs are a bit too long over the knee for my taste and I am not a big fan of the peplum dress. But the prints are pretty cool and the overall feel of the designs is fun. Oh and not to forget – the creator behind Ife’s Closet is a new mom so the outfits are designed to be “stylish, comfortable and affordable”.
