Fashion from the Heart: Bazara’ Pagne presents EDZIME

I just discovered this cool collection by the Paris-based brand Bazara’ Pagne. Inspired by a trip to Togo the designer titled their latest collection “EDZIME” – which apparently means “from the heart” in a Togolese dialect. I really really like this collection! The designs look like a mix of Africa-inspired prints with a vintage twist and a tiny little bit of granola aesthetic but hey – I like it. The long print dresses remind me of an older collection by Duro Olowu. I especially appreciate that the photo shoot of the collection is so different, almost a bit gloomy but nonetheless cool and stylish.
